Queenbe is a self-taught illustrator, designer, animator, and author of children's books.

After graduating UCLA, she worked as an international teacher in the UK, Turkey, Denmark, and Germany while designing during her free time.
 
Her illustrations feature bold colors that incorporate her patterns. She is also passionate about featuring women of color in her work as they are a largely underrepresented group in the design world
